Edificio Lazcano 8 dates back to 1966 and was built as part of the urban development that took place in the second half of the 20th century in Malaga.
The main exterior façade faces west out onto Calle de Comedias, to the east it looks out over Calle Juan de Padilla, to the south Calle Lazcano itself, and to the north there is an adjacent building. A rectangular building arranged around interior courtyards; it is six storeys high including the ground floor.
In 2003, the exterior walls were renovated, and more recently the main entrance has been modernised in line with regulations on universal accessibility.
