The luxury jewellery firm has chosen Malaga to open its first store in Andalusia
Malaga, 17 July 2023.- Calle Marqués de Larios will soon have a major new storefront. Salsa Patrimonio, part of Grupo Sociedad Azucarera Larios, has signed a lease with the prestigious jewellery firm Quera for commercial premises located at No. 4 Calle Marqués de Larios, in one of the city’s “golden corners” boasting great visibility, in Malaga’s prime shopping area. Savills and aRetail acted as advisers in the transaction.
This opening will be a strategic step for Quera, which, with more than 130 years of history and six generations of the same family at the helm, specialises in the best Swiss watch and jewellery brands from around the world. This will be their first store in Andalusia and demonstrates the firm commitment of Quera and Salsa Patrimonio to the city, introducing luxury brands into the heart of the Malaga’s historic and shopping district.
The new establishment is located at No. 4 Calle Marqués de Larios, with around 650 m2 of shop floor, and will create the exclusive shopping experience associated with high-end jewellery and watchmaking. Quera also has other jewellery stores in Girona, as well as its original boutique in Alicante, in addition to its online channel. The new store will also have a workshop and watch repair service.
SALSA Patrimonio, owned by Grupo Azucarera Larios, has a long tradition in urban property lease management. It has a portfolio of properties in Malaga and Madrid totalling more than 73,000 m2 GLA (Gross Leasable Area), which includes office buildings, commercial premises, houses and a themed shopping centre,, El Ingenio,, in the town of Vélez-Málaga.
