In 2025, El Ingenio celebrates its 25th anniversary, a milestone that highlights the center’s evolution over these two and a half decades and reinforces its role as an economic, social, and cultural engine of the region. To commemorate this special occasion, an extensive program of activities has been developed throughout the month of November, designed to thank the loyalty of its visitors, operators, and employees by offering unique experiences for all audiences.
The celebration included experiential actions, itinerant shows, and artistic activities at various points throughout the center. Among the most notable events was the grand commemorative weekend on November 21st and 22nd, featuring themed parades, aerial acrobatics, jugglers, stilt walkers, magic performances, and a special concert by the IT Gospel Choir, which filled the center with music and audience participation. At the same time, El Ingenio sought to reward the loyalty of its customers through a promotional campaign held from November 7th to 15th, where 12,000 euros in prizes were awarded.
This 25th anniversary comes at a particularly significant moment for El Ingenio, which in recent years has undertaken major structural and technological improvements. In addition, continuing its commitment to sustainability, it has developed an ESG Plan to further promote good practices, including the installation of a photovoltaic plant, the launch of Endesa’s largest electric vehicle charging HUB in Andalusia, the addition of new leading operators, and the continuous renewal of its commercial and gastronomic offerings. These elements solidify the center as a modern, efficient space oriented towards the future. Furthermore, the center is a local employment engine, with over seven hundred workers contributing to the economic development of the region and the daily operation of the space.
Furthermore, the center has strengthened its commitment to digitalization, customer experience, and family entertainment, maintaining its original identity while evolving towards a more sustainable, interactive model that meets the new needs of consumers. The addition of new spaces, improved rest areas, greater lighting efficiency, and updated designs in key areas reflect this renewed vision.
With all of this, El Ingenio celebrates 25 years, reaffirming itself as much more than a shopping center: a meeting point, a social and economic driver, and a space in continuous evolution.
