Calle Velázquez in Madrid will have a major new shop opening soon, following the agreement signed yesterday. Salsa Patrimonio, owned by Grupo Sociedad Azucarera Larios, has signed an agreement with the famous pastry chef Alex Cordobés to lease one of its commercial premises located in the heart of the city’s Salamanca District, at No. 60 Calle Velázquez.
This will be Alex Cordobes’ first establishment in the city of Madrid, just two years after opening his own bakery in the Burgo Centro de Las Rozas shopping centre. The premises covers an area of 78 m² and enjoys an exceptional location, where the pastry chef offers the most sought-after cheesecakes in the whole of Madrid, right by some of the city’s hottest restaurants such as Bel Mondo and La Maruca.
SALSA Patrimonio, owned by Grupo Sociedad Azucarera Larios, has a long tradition in urban property lease management. It has a portfolio of properties in Málaga and Madrid totalling more than 76,000 m² GLA (Gross Leasable Area), which include office buildings, commercial premises, residential properties, and a themed shopping centre, CC, El Ingenio, in the town of Vélez-Málaga.
