Salsa Patrimonio, belonging to the Sociedad Azucarera Larios Group, has rented to MERCADONA the plot of building land where it opened its new efficient supermarket to the public today in Torre del Mar (Vélez Málaga), specifically on Mar Tirreno street.
The new supermarket has a sales area of 1,838 square meters and 184 parking spaces, with a modern design with new colors and materials, both on the exterior façade and in the distribution of the different sections. The new store is committed to large open spaces that facilitate the entry of natural light and warm colors in the delimitation of the different environments.
On the 6.009,10 m² plot of commercial use, owned by the Sociedad Azucarera Larios Group, the urbanization and construction of the new MERCADONA building has meant, at an environmental level, a reduction of up to 40% in energy consumption compared to the conventional store model, due to improved thermal and acoustic insulation.
On the roof of the new supermarket, 540 solar panels with a power of 200kWh have been installed – which cover approximately 20% of the energy consumed by the establishment.
SALSA Patrimonio, belonging to the Sociedad Azucarera Larios Group, with a long tradition in the management of urban rental assets, has a portfolio of its own properties in Malaga and Madrid of more than 73,000 m² of GLA (Gross Lettable Area), which includes buildings of offices, commercial premises, homes and a themed shopping center, El Ingenio, in the town of Vélez-Málaga.
